Meet Danny Hill, a miracle patient and inspiration to many. After suffering two strokes that left him paralyzed and unable to communicate, Danny’s outlook was bleak. After three weeks in the hospital, he miraculously awoke and was moved to St. Anthony’s newly remodeled Rehabilitation Center. Our staff worked diligently with Danny to help him regain his ability to communicate and use muscles that physicians predicted he would never use again. With the help of our speech, physical, and occupational therapists and Danny’s positive attitude, he eventually began to speak with effort and walk with the support of a cane. Today, he hopes to return to school to become a physical therapist so he can make a difference in someone’s life.
It is patients like Danny that refuse to give up that inspire our staff’s positive attitude. Influenced by every patient that is treated at the Rehabilitation Center, St. Anthony nurses, therapists and caregivers are committed to getting you back to where you belong.
