Sports Injuries
The sports medicine staff works with athletes of all levels to address specific injuries, whether it’s an ACL tear from football or an ankle sprain from indoor soccer. The customized treatment plans developed by the therapists at St. Anthony North return athletes to full activity in the shortest time possible.

Athletic trainers at St. Anthony North work with several metro area varsity sports programs offering on-site emergency evaluation and care when an athlete is injured.

SCORE Athletic Performance Enhancement
St. Anthony North’s Athletic Performance Enhancement program offers athletes one-on-one sport specific consultations designed to enhance speed, endurance, strength, flexibility and agility. Nutrition consultations with a registered dietitian complement the program offering athletes insight into meal planning and fluid management.

Physical Therapy/Rehabilitation
Therapists at St. Anthony North are experienced in all levels of diagnosis and treatment. They work closely with patients to evaluate the injury, determine the problem, address the problem with treatment, and provide exercise and resources to prevent the injury from reoccurring.

State-of-the-art equipment at St. Anthony North includes the Swimmex Therapy Pool for aquatic exercise and strengthening, and Isokinetic Strength Testing to assess joint strength. A variety of weight machines are also available for rehabilitation and strengthening.

Hand Therapy
Working with patients facing injuries, arthritis, or recovery following surgery, Hand Center therapists restore the greatest amount of hand function possible through focused, intensive therapy. The Hand Center staff is also available for worksite consultation to help employers reduce the incidence of injuries to shoulders, arms, hands and wrists.

Orthopedic Specialists
St. Anthony North has an array of board certified physicians and surgeons specializing in orthopedics who are trained to quickly and accurately diagnose and treat sports-related injuries. St. Anthony North’s rehabilitation team includes physical therapists skilled in pre- and post-operative orthopedic rehabilitation.

Occupational Therapy
St. Anthony North’s occupational medicine program is helping Oklahoma businesses keep their employees healthy. The staff at St. Anthony North provides a full range of medical and injury treatment services as well as preventive health programs including injury prevention, proper lifting techniques and on-the-job safety training.
