This course will offer information and introduction to the Glycemic Index and Glycemic Load. The Glycemic Index is a system to determine how quickly a food affects the blood sugar level. This program is open to anyone; you don't have to be a Diabetic to attend. You will learn how to use the Glycemic Index to make healthier decisions when planning meals.
