FREE Connections Luncheon for May: Stroke Prevention!

Stroke is the #1 cause of disability . . . but 80% of strokes are preventable!

May is National Stroke Awareness Month.  At this month's CONNECTIONS Educational Series Luncheon, we'll learn how to prevent stroke, what signs to look for, and all about the treatment of stroke.

Our panel of experts includes:

* Dr. Syed Shah, Neurology

* Dr. Michael Verta, Vascular Surgery

* Linda Bryan, Speech Pathology

* Judy Swinson of Volunteer Services with info on being a caregiver to someone who has suffered a stroke

A free healthy lunch will be served.  Although it's free to attend, please register so we can have an accurate count for lunch.

This event is part of the CONNECTIONS Educational series.  Want to know more about being a Connections member?  It's FREE!  Ask about it when you call, toll free:  1-888-257-6098
