St. Mary’s Pastoral Care Dept. to hold free Memorial Service March 8

MOUNT VERNON, Ill. (February 26, 2009) – St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Pastoral Care Department would like to invite the public to be a part of their quarterly Memorial Service on Sunday, March 8 at 2pm in the Good Samaritan Regional Health Center Chapel. 

If you had a loved one pass at our hospital or in our hospice program during October, November or December, we invite you to come experience this Christian service of remembering.  Only an hour long, the service will include healing music and devotionals, as well as a candle-lighting ceremony in honor of the departed.  Those who attend are invited to bring a photo of their loved one to place on the altar.    Light refreshments will be served afterward.

This service is very open – if you have lost a loved one outside of the description above but would still like to attend, we invite you to come take some time for healing.
