Health Insurance - Full and part-time employees (those who work 32 hours per pay period or more) may choose between SSM Exclusive Choice (Managed Care Option), or traditional medical plans to take care of your family.
Dental Insurance – Full and part-time employees (working 32 hours per pay period or more) can participate in a dental insurance plan that takes advantage of our low group rates. Choose between a high or lower coverage option.
Vision Insurance – Full and part-time employees (working 32 hours per pay period or more) may take advantage of a health vision coverage plan.
Legally Domiciled Adult- SSM has become one of the first health care providers in the nation to include “legally domiciled adult/domestic partner” to our Health, Dental and Vision coverage. This allows you to cover one additional household adult, if your spouse is not covered.
Free Life Insurance – This valuable protection is provided to you at no cost. Coverage is double your annual base pay for full-time employees, $5,000 for part-time employees.
Long Term Disability – Coverage is provided if you average 72-80 hours per pay period.
Short Term Disability – Coverage is available if you are working 32 or more hours a pay period.
Pretax Savings Plan – (403b) Upon your employment, you may participate in a tax-deferred savings plan.
Match Savings Plan – (401a) After 1 year of employment SSM will match $.50 on your dollar up to 3% of your annual pay not to exceed an annual employer contribution of $2,550 per IRS guidelines.
Long Term Care – This insurance coverage is available for your spouse, parents, parents-in-law grandparents, even grandparents-in-law.
Tuition Reimbursement – You will be eligible to receive $2 for every hour worked toward tuition starting your first day of employment up to a maximum amount of $4,160 annually.
Spending Accounts- These accounts offer you the opportunity to set aside pretax dollars to pay for dependent care expenses and health care expenses that insurance does not cover.
Paid Time Off – Whether you are a full- or part-time employee, you will earn time-off beginning the first day of employment-hours will be available after the first pay period earned. The hours are earned based on the number of hours worked. The number of days off grow with your years of service at SSM.
Vacation Cash-In- At your discretion, you may cash-in your accrued vacation time for pay. This may be done once a year as long as you retain 40 hours. You can cash-in up to 40 hours per year.
Adoption Reimbursement- If you choose to adopt, adoption costs will be paid up to the maximum amount paid for an uncomplicated vaginal delivery.
Leave of Absence- SSM recognizes that life’s circumstances may occasionally cause you to take time away from work to care for important family and medical needs. Leaves are available for personal, family, medical, educational or military reasons.
Transfer Opportunities- It is our goal to help you grow and develop your career at SSM. In doing so, employees are able to transfer to other departments or SSM entities after six months of service.
