You may place local calls from your room by dialing 9 + the number.
Long-distance calls (collect or charged to credit card or home phone) may be placed by dialing 9 + 0 + area code + number being called. After the beep, enter your calling card number or wait for an outside operator to assist you with your call.
Incoming calls to a patient room may be restricted at the patient’s request. Patients can refuse calls coming directly into the room by contacting the hospital operator.
