The documentary's subject was the legacy of the Franciscan Sisters of Mary, a congregation of women religious that not only traces its roots to 1872 but continues to sponsor SSM Health Care today. Honored with a St. Louis Film Critics Award for best inspiring documentary, Continue Courageously explores the sisters' thoughts on faith, living a life serving others and their legacy as their numbers dwindle.
