Employer's Choice Occupational Medicine Services, a cooperative venture between St. Clare Hospital and Medical Associates Clinic, was started in August of 1997 to help business and industry in the area to keep their employees safe and well.
When it began, Employers' Choice had 18 companies on its client list. Each month since it began, one or two clients have been added to that list. By December 1999, Employers' Choice served 47 companies. Employers' Choice demonstrated a 35 percent increase in sales from first quarter 1999 to first quarter 2000.
