SSM St. Joseph Health Center has been serving the community since 1885. For more than a century we have met the health care needs of those in the surrounding areas with quality and compassion. During that time our facilities have grown to include SSM St. Joseph Hospital West, SSM St. Joseph Health Center-Wentzville, St. Joseph Medical Park, numerous medical buildings ,and many ways to reach out to the community through community education and other civic involvement.

Our staff is committed to this ministry and know that they care for the face of Christ in each life they touch. But, they do not do that alone. At St. Joseph we are honored and privileged to have a devoted team of volunteers who contribute in so many ways to our ministry. Through service to their community in the form of their important work at St. Joseph, our volunteers reap rewards that they tell us about often.  Whether you have extra time to enjoy the opportunity to meet new people and make lasting friends, or just want to give back to the wonderful community in which we live, there are opportunities for you in volunteer service at SSM St. Joseph Health Center, SSM St. Joseph Hospital West, and SSM St. Joseph Health Center-Wentzville.

Opportunities
Sharing your skills and your time can include everything from giving an encouraging smile, holding a hand in need, providing clerical support, helping our visitors and patients find their way in our facilities and much more.

There are opportunities for youth and adults alike. Many youth in need of service hours for school or scouting find that not only do they meet their goal, but also grow in understanding and appreciation and learn new skills. Youth must be 14 and adult ages are limitless. If you enjoy helping others and are willing to give of your time, you are already on the way to becoming a wonderful volunteer. As a volunteer, you are welcome to work as often as you like.
